Antique (1880s) Bawo & Dotter Elite Works Limoges France Bridal Wreath round, double-handled, covered vegetable serving bowl. Bridal Wreath is a celebrated Limoges pattern featuring sprays of small, pink roses with green leaves set against a white background with brushed gold edging and accents.
It is clear this was loved and used and yet is in unexpectedly fine condition. There is sign of light rub to the gold accents on the top of the lid pull. There is no distinguishable rub to the handles and little loss to the scalloped gold edging. There are no cracks, crazing or stains.
Approximate measurements: 10" across (handle to handle). Measures 5.5" tall with lid. Internal bowl diameter is 7-3/4".
